Fortis Bloom IVF Centre in Delhi Bags FICCI Medical Value Travel Award 2026

India’s healthcare sector has been attracting a growing number of international patients, with medical value travel becoming a significant contributor to the country’s global healthcare reputation. Many people from regions such as the United States, Canada, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Australia and New Zealand travel to India for treatments ranging from complex surgeries to fertility procedures, often because the country offers high-quality care at comparatively affordable costs.

Amid this expanding medical tourism landscape, the Fortis Bloom IVF Centre at Fortis LaFemme Hospital in Greater Kailash-II, New Delhi, has received the FICCI Medical Value Travel Award for IVF and Reproductive Medicine at the Advantage Healthcare India 2026 event.

The honour was presented by Union Minister Sh. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. Representing the organisation, Ojaswini Kapoor, CEO of Bloom IVF Group, accepted the award along with Garima Prasad, Facility Director of Fortis LaFemme Hospital.

The recognition highlights the centre’s role in delivering advanced fertility care and assisting couples facing infertility challenges. It also acknowledges the long-standing expertise of fertility specialists Hrishikesh Pai and Nandita Palshetkar, medical directors of the Bloom IVF Group, whose combined experience in reproductive medicine exceeds 40 years.

Dr Hrishikesh emphasised the growing influence of international patients in shaping India’s healthcare sector. “Medical tourism is playing an increasingly important role in positioning India as a global hub for quality and affordable healthcare. Patients from countries such as the United States, Canada, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Australia and New Zealand come to India for fertility treatment,” he said.

The Bloom IVF Group currently operates centres at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, DY Patil Hospital in Navi Mumbai, Fortis LaFemme Hospital in Delhi, Medsovis Hospital in Gurugram and Fortis Hospital in Mohali.

Dr Nandita said the group continues to focus on providing advanced fertility solutions with strong success rates while maintaining affordability. She added that the centres are equipped with modern embryology laboratories and supported by experienced IVF specialists to ensure high standards of care.
