Apollo Proton Cancer Centre (APCC), Chennai, has been recognised with the Excellence in Oncology Award at the Times Healthcare Achievers Tamil Nadu 2026.
The award was received by Karan Puri, Chief Executive Officer, Apollo Cancer Centres and Apollo Proton Cancer Centre, on behalf of APCC during the ceremony held in Chennai.
Since its establishment in 2019, APCC has developed a multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatment, bringing together surgical, medical and radiation oncology, including proton therapy. Its clinical teams assess patients collectively and design personalised treatment plans based on factors such as cancer type, stage and individual clinical requirements.
The recognition reflects the centre’s focus on coordinated cancer care, specialised oncology programmes and the integration of advanced treatment technologies with multidisciplinary clinical expertise.
The award adds to Apollo Proton Cancer Centre’s recognition in the oncology field and highlights its continued focus on delivering coordinated and specialised cancer care through a multidisciplinary model.
