Apollo AyurVAID, part of the Apollo Hospitals Group, announced on Tuesday that it has entered into a collaboration with the US-based Vivekananda Yoga University (VaYU) to promote advanced learning in Ayurveda, Yoga, and Integrative Medicine.
Under this alliance, both institutions will jointly design academic courses, training modules, and skill enhancement programs, while also driving evidence-based research in integrative medicine. The partnership aims to provide international students with access to clinical internships and global outreach opportunities in Ayurveda and Yoga, according to an Apollo AyurVAID statement.
VaYU, which holds accreditation from the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) in California, currently offers online Master’s and PhD degrees in Yoga.
The initiative will enable worldwide learners to access accredited, high-quality continuing education in Ayurveda, Yoga, and Integrative Medicine.
Highlighting the collaboration, Rajiv Vasudevan, Founder, MD and CEO of Apollo AyurVAID Hospitals, said: “Merging VaYU’s strength in yoga education and research with Apollo AyurVAID’s award-winning, protocol-driven precision Ayurveda care creates a strong platform to open new global pathways for education and practice in Indian health sciences.”
