Apollo Hospitals Collaborates with Roche Diagnostics to Advance AI-Powered Clinical Care

Apollo Hospitals has entered into a strategic collaboration with Roche Diagnostics India, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to bring artificial intelligence–enabled support into clinical decision-making processes. The agreement was announced during THIT 2026 — the annual “Transforming Healthcare with IT” conference hosted by Apollo Hospitals — and was witnessed by Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals Group, and Mr. Rishubh Gupta, Managing Director, Roche Diagnostics India & Neighbouring Markets.

Central to the collaboration is Roche’s Navify Algorithm Suite, a cloud-based clinical decision support solution designed to work alongside hospital systems. The platform connects with Apollo’s digital infrastructure to provide personalized clinical insights, assist in identifying complex diseases at an earlier stage, and improve operational workflows. It links electronic medical records (EMR), laboratory information systems (LIS), and hospital information systems (HIS) into a unified framework for clinicians.

The partnership combines Apollo’s medical expertise with Roche’s digital health technologies and will also facilitate real-world validation of AI tools at Apollo’s research facilities. This approach is intended to confirm dependable performance across varied clinical environments.

Dr. Sangita Reddy emphasized the focus on digital transformation: “We aim to accelerate early diagnosis, streamline workflows, and enhance quality of life for patients.” Mr. Rishubh Gupta highlighted transforming data into actionable intelligence for scalable, precise decisions.

Through this initiative, Apollo continues to advance evidence-based innovation across its extensive network, which includes more than 74 hospitals, over 6,600 pharmacies, 264 clinics, 2,182 diagnostic centres, and upwards of 800 telemedicine units. Patients are expected to benefit from quicker and more accurate treatment, while healthcare professionals gain access to more efficient tools — strengthening a healthcare system built around patient-centric care.
