International healthcare accreditation authority TEMOS International has completed its soft launch in New Delhi, signalling a significant step in its entry into the Indian healthcare landscape. The launch featured a strategic roundtable that brought together quality-focused hospitals, TEMOS-accredited consultants and assessors, Advisory Panel members, regional partner organisations, and Dr Claudia Mika, Founder and CEO of TEMOS International.
The New Delhi initiative highlights TEMOS International’s long-term vision to support India’s emergence as a leading hub for medical value travel, while fostering a globally aligned, patient-focused, and trust-driven healthcare environment. As part of this expansion, TEMOS has entered into strategic Memoranda of Understanding with key national bodies including the Service Export Promotion Council (SEPC), the Confederation of All Healthcare Providers India (CAHO), the Institution of Fire Engineers, and the Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI). These partnerships aim to promote collaborative learning, strengthen institutional capabilities, and support the development of medical tourism-related conferences and knowledge platforms across India.
Separately, Smriti Healthcare—a newly established specialty healthcare group focused on oncology and reproductive medicine (IVF)—has signed an MoU with TEMOS International to serve as its Regional Partner for Uttar Pradesh. Based in Lucknow, with operational centres in Raebareli and plans for expansion across the state, Smriti Healthcare’s association with TEMOS underscores its commitment to globally recognised accreditation standards. By adopting TEMOS’ comprehensive evaluation and quality frameworks, the organisation seeks to deliver internationally benchmarked care while preserving the patient-first philosophy central to the TEMOS accreditation approach.
Commenting on the development, Dr Mika said, “India’s medical tourism potential can only be realised through meaningful collaboration, strong governance, and global benchmarking. TEMOS International remains open and committed to working with Indian stakeholders to build a trusted and sustainable medical value travel ecosystem. We don’t just treat; we heal with science and lead with ethics. Join us on our journey to elevate healthcare for society at large.”
