Max Healthcare has announced a new collaboration with Google designed to make scheduling medical appointments more straightforward for patients across India. Under this arrangement, people searching for Max Healthcare services—including hospitals, doctors, or specific medical specialties—on Google Search or Google Maps will now see a “Book Online” button that connects them directly to the official Max Healthcare booking system.
This new function leverages Google’s Appointments Redirect capability, which cuts down unnecessary steps by taking users to verified scheduling pages rather than leaving them to sort through potentially unreliable third-party sites. Max Healthcare said this authenticated redirection is intended to strengthen patient confidence in the information they find online.
According to the health network, many patients begin their care journey by searching online, and reducing friction between search results and appointment scheduling has been a key focus. “A large number of patients begin their healthcare journey through a search on Google. Our goal is to make the journey from search to appointment as simple as possible,” said Anas Abdul Wajid, Senior Director and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Max Healthcare. He emphasized that the collaboration supports the company’s wider push toward digital transformation and a more patient-centric experience.
The digital booking enhancement will be rolled out uniformly across all Max Healthcare facilities, ensuring that patients in different regions can benefit from easier access to trusted care. Max Healthcare also noted that this effort is part of its broader strategy to reinforce India’s digital healthcare ecosystem and improve how patients connect with quality medical services.
