Vaidam Health, a leading Indian medical tourism platform, has acquired AI-driven healthtech startup MediJourney in a strategic move to enhance its digital capabilities and expand global reach.
The acquisition, finalized this week, brings MediJourney’s AI-powered onboarding and multilingual case management into Vaidam’s system. MediJourney, launched in 2024 by Ferns N Petals, will retain its brand identity and team structure, while integrating backend operations with Vaidam.
With this move, Vaidam aims to increase its international patient engagement by up to 50% and strengthen its presence in key markets across Africa and Southeast Asia. The integration will introduce new digital features including real-time case tracking, smart patient-hospital matching, and multilingual support.
Vaidam currently partners with over 500 accredited hospitals in India and abroad. The combined platform is expected to streamline cross-border healthcare, offering international patients faster and more personalized access to medical services.
Company officials say the merger reflects a growing demand for tech-driven solutions in medical tourism and positions Vaidam for long-term global growth.
