Medicover Hospitals Unveils India’s Tallest and Most Advanced Medical Tower in Hyderabad

Medicover Hospitals has inaugurated what is now India’s tallest and most sophisticated medical tower, located in Hyderabad’s bustling Financial District. Rising 25 floors and reaching a height of 82 metres, the new facility is set to transform the country’s healthcare landscape through its scale, design, and cutting-edge medical capabilities.

The project, envisioned and driven by Dr. G. Anil Krishna, Chairman and Managing Director of Medicover Hospitals (India), reflects the organisation’s commitment to innovation and exceptional patient care. The tower has been developed to serve as a modern landmark that embodies trust, progress, and superior medical standards.

Spanning 5,00,000 sq. ft., the 25-storey Medicover Hospital offers an extensive range of healthcare services. It accommodates 550 beds, 80 outpatient consultation rooms, and 13 state-of-the-art operating theatres. The facility includes a 200-bed ICU equipped with the latest critical care technologies, a 200-seat academic auditorium, and 150 single-occupancy patient rooms designed to ensure comfort and privacy.

The hospital brings together leading specialists across multiple disciplines—such as oncology, cardiology, neurology, orthopaedics, transplant medicine, and women’s and children’s health—creating a comprehensive hub for advanced treatments. Key technologies include a Biplane Canon Cath Lab, 640-slice CT scanner, 1.5T wide-bore MRI, and the Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System, reinforcing Medicover’s focus on precision and high-end medical care.

To support international patients, the tower also offers dedicated global services, including visa support, translator assistance, concierge programmes, and customised treatment packages. It will serve as a major Center of Excellence for transplant surgery and robotic procedures, backed by next-generation medical innovations.

Sustainability and digital integration are central to the design. Built with eco-conscious materials and supported by smart digital systems, the facility ensures efficient operations, enhanced safety, and real-time health monitoring. Every floor features touchless and digitally connected systems to maintain high standards of hygiene and streamline patient experience.
