Medicover Hospitals Launches 550-Bed Advanced Hospital in Hyderabad, Introduces 5-Second Cardiac Scan Technology

Medicover Hospitals has inaugurated a new 550-bed multi-speciality hospital in Hyderabad’s Financial District. The facility was formally opened by Telangana Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy.

The hospital is designed with modern infrastructure and advanced medical technologies aimed at strengthening tertiary healthcare services in the region. Among its major features is a high-speed cardiac scanning system capable of completing a heart scan within five seconds.

According to a press release issued by the hospital, this advanced cardiac imaging technology is being introduced for the first time in the Telugu states. The system is expected to enable faster and more accurate cardiac diagnostics.

The facility also houses a 640-slice CT scanner that supports rapid and precise imaging for improved clinical decision-making. With the addition of this hospital in the Financial District, Medicover Hospitals has expanded its presence in India to a total of 25 hospitals.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy said, “Hyderabad continues to emerge as a major healthcare hub in the country. The establishment of modern hospitals with advanced medical technology will improve healthcare access and support the well-being of people across the state.”

G Anil Krishna, Managing Director of Medicover Hospitals India, stated that the hospital has been developed with the goal of providing world-class medical services backed by experienced specialists and cutting-edge technology.

Several dignitaries attended the inauguration, including State Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha, Jubilee Hills MLA Naveen Kumar Yadav, Chief Advisor to the Chief Minister Vem Narender Reddy, Executive Directors of Medicover Hospitals Dr A Sharath Reddy and P Hari Krishna, and Director of Medicover Hospitals India Dr AR Krishna Prasad, among others.
