Aster Medcity, Kochi, has received the “Excellence in Medical Value Travel & Wellness Tourism” award at the 4th Health and Wellness Summit of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM).
The award was presented by M Srinivas, member of NITI Aayog, to Amit Singhal, Head – International Business, Kerala, Aster DM Quality, at a ceremony in New Delhi. Aster Medcity was recognised for its international-standard treatment facilities, advanced medical technology, and quality of care for overseas patients.
The hospital provides a range of services for international patients, including telemedicine consultations before arrival, language assistance, and support with insurance and logistics. Over the past year, Aster has treated patients from 58 countries.
The latest recognition follows the CII Kerala Health & Medical Tourism Award and the Hospex Excellence in Medical Tourism Award, further highlighting Aster Medcity’s contribution to Kochi’s growing position as a medical tourism destination.
