Max Healthcare Announces Major Expansion with 1,550 Beds Across New Greenfield Hospitals in Gurgaon & Lucknow

Max Healthcare has outlined a significant expansion of its hospital network that will greatly increase its total bed capacity. As part of this strategy, the company has detailed that two large greenfield hospital projects are underway — one in Gurgaon with around 1,000 beds and another in Lucknow with 550 beds. These facilities together will contribute about 1,550 new beds to the group’s overall network.

This announcement forms part of a broader growth plan through which Max Healthcare intends to add more than 8,900 beds in total. Of these, roughly 4,600 beds are expected to come online over the next three to four years as part of a phased build-out designed to maintain high operational standards while increasing service capacity.

The company has highlighted that its forthcoming greenfield hospitals are expected to generate strong returns, underscoring their importance within the wider strategy. By investing in these new facilities, Max Healthcare aims to reinforce its presence in key urban markets and serve a larger patient base with enhanced healthcare infrastructure.

Overall, this expansion initiative represents a major investment in private healthcare capacity and underscores Max Healthcare’s commitment to scaling its services across regions with high demand.
