Park Medi World is planning a major expansion of its hospital network, with a target of reaching 5,740 beds by FY28. According to its FY26 annual report, the company plans to add around 2,130 beds over the next two years.
The expansion will use a mix of new hospital projects, expansion of existing facilities, acquisitions and operate-and-manage models.
The company plans to focus primarily on markets where it already operates, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand.
Acquisition-Led Growth
Acquisitions remain a key part of Park Medi World’s expansion strategy. Of its 17 operational hospitals, 11 have been added through acquisitions, helping the company enter new markets and strengthen its presence in established healthcare catchments.
The acquisition of The Medicity Hospital in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, marks Park Medi World’s entry into its sixth state. The 330-bed multi-super-speciality hospital is the largest facility in the Kumaon region and is NABH-accredited.
The hospital was commissioned on August 2, 2026, and recorded a turnover of ₹557 million in FY26, while remaining profitable.
₹628 Crore Expansion Investment
Park Medi World estimates that adding 1,780 beds, excluding Panchkula, will require incremental capital expenditure of around ₹6,280 million (₹628 crore).
The company expects to finance most of the planned expansion through internal accruals and existing cash reserves, reducing the need for significant additional borrowing or equity dilution.
Building a Stronger North India Network
With its expansion pipeline and acquisition-focused strategy, Park Medi World aims to deepen its presence across North India while adding capacity in established and emerging healthcare markets.
The planned growth is expected to strengthen the group’s regional footprint and increase access to multi-speciality and super-speciality healthcare services across its operating states.
Park Medi World’s FY28 expansion roadmap reflects a measured, largely internally funded approach to scaling its hospital network. The combination of acquisitions, new facilities and capacity expansion could help the company build a larger healthcare platform across North India.
