Pharmexcil to Showcase India Pavilion at World Health Expo 2026 in Dubai

The Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil) will host the India Pavilion at the World Health Expo (WHX) 2026, to be held from February 9 to 12, 2026, at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, UAE. Covering 522 square meters and featuring 61 exhibition stalls, the India Pavilion will highlight India’s growing leadership in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and healthcare innovation.

This marks Pharmexcil’s 19th consecutive participation in the prestigious Dubai health exhibition, formerly known as Arab Health. The Council is inviting Indian pharma exporters and healthcare manufacturers to participate in this influential international platform, especially those targeting growth in the Middle East and African markets.

World Health Expo 2026: A Global Healthcare Powerhouse

The World Health Expo (WHX) Dubai 2026 is one of the largest global healthcare trade shows, bringing together over 4,800 exhibitors and more than 270,000 visitors from 180+ countries. The event connects healthcare professionals, innovators, doctors, investors, and policymakers, offering a powerful space for networking, knowledge sharing, and B2B partnerships.

This edition of WHX introduces a new venue and expanded format, co-located with WHX Labs Dubai (formerly Medlab Middle East), creating the world’s largest integrated healthcare and medical technology exhibition.

The central theme, “Shaping the Future of Healthcare,” will spotlight sustainable innovations, AI-driven medical solutions, and next-generation healthcare technologies redefining the global industry.

Supported by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, Pharmexcil is offering subsidized stalls within the India Pavilion, significantly below standard organizer rates. Companies can reserve stalls online through Pharmexcil’s official booking portal.

“We are offering India Pavilion stalls at concessional rates thanks to government support,” said Raja Bhanu, Director General, Pharmexcil. “Members are also eligible for travel reimbursement under the Market Access Initiative (MAI) Scheme), in line with the latest government guidelines and fund releases.”

Eligibility for Participation

Pharmexcil has set clear eligibility guidelines to ensure fair participation:

  • The exhibitor must be a registered Pharmexcil member for at least one year.
  • The company’s export turnover during the previous financial year must be ₹50 crore or less.
  • The exhibitor should not have participated through the India Pavilion in Arab Health/WHX for more than three years previously.

World-Class Pavilion Design

The India Pavilion will be designed to international exhibition standards, eliminating the need for individual stall setups. However, exhibitors may use customized stall designs (within height and branding limits) after Pharmexcil’s prior approval.

Each participant can reserve up to two adjacent stalls, with a maximum limit of 18 square meters per company. Bookings require 100% payment within 10 days of reservation, and all payments must be completed by November 17, 2025, to confirm participation.

Promoting India’s Global Pharma Strength

Through the India Pavilion at World Health Expo 2026, Pharmexcil aims to project India’s pharmaceutical excellence, foster international trade collaborations, and enhance brand India’s visibility in the global healthcare market.

The participation aligns with India’s vision of becoming a world hub for affordable, high-quality medicines and medical technology, strengthening its presence across emerging healthcare economies.
