Amazon India has taken a significant step into the healthcare sector with the launch of Amazon Diagnostics, an at-home lab testing service now available across six major Indian cities.
Partnering with Orange Health Labs, the e-commerce giant will provide doorstep sample collection within 60 minutes across more than 450 PIN codes in Bengaluru, Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. Users can book tests, manage appointments, and view digital reports directly through the Amazon app.
The new service offers access to over 800 diagnostic tests, aiming to simplify preventive health check-ups and routine lab work for urban consumers.
Amazon Diagnostics now joins Amazon’s broader healthcare ecosystem under the unified umbrella of Amazon Medical, which already includes Amazon Pharmacy and Amazon Clinic. While Amazon Pharmacy delivers prescription medicines and healthcare essentials—along with free teleconsultations—Amazon Clinic enables digital consultations with licensed medical professionals for a range of primary care needs.
“This launch builds on our commitment to offer accessible, convenient healthcare solutions to our customers,” the company said in a statement.
With this move, Amazon strengthens its position in India’s rapidly growing digital health space, responding to increased demand for at-home medical services post-pandemic.
