Apollo Spectra Hospital has launched an innovative multi-robot surgical ecosystem at its Pusa Road centre in Delhi-NCR, marking a major step forward in precision-driven and technology-enhanced healthcare. The new robotic infrastructure is supported by personalised 3D surgical planning, offering patients greater accuracy, safety, and improved outcomes.
The advanced systems were formally unveiled by Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals Group, in the presence of India’s first individual Olympic gold medallist, Abhinav Bindra, who attended as the Guest of Honour.
A key highlight of the upgrade is the Meril CUVIS Joint Robotic System, designed for knee and hip replacement surgeries. The facility has also integrated the SSI Mantra Surgical Robot to support robotic soft tissue procedures. In addition, the hospital now offers end-to-end 3D modelling-based surgical planning to complement its robotic platforms.

The Anatomiz 3D technology provides surgeons with a highly detailed, patient-specific anatomical view, enabling precise incision planning and optimal implant positioning. This level of visualisation enhances the surgeon’s ability to make informed decisions and perform procedures with greater accuracy.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals Group, said, “This integration under one roof ensures our patients receive the highest standard of safety and predictability across both major orthopedic and complex soft tissue procedures. This is a quantum leap from a single robotic solution that allows us to deliver our signature technology-backed, short-stay surgical model, ensuring that busy professionals and active senior citizens alike benefit from minimal invasiveness, lower complications, and a significantly faster recovery time.”
Abhinav Bindra, Padma Bhushan awardee and former Indian sport shooter, added, “It is inspiring to see Apollo’s proactive approach to healthcare, consistently investing in future-ready medical technology to elevate standards of excellence. Robotics ensures a good level of accuracy and safety that patients truly deserve, making advanced surgical care more accessible. This initiative by Apollo Spectra represents the direction in which the surgical ecosystem of India must move, setting a standard that will rapidly become the expectation for all patients seeking high-quality, precise, and safer surgical outcomes across the country.”
