Apollo Hospitals is set to convene the 13th edition of the International Health Dialogue (IHD) in Hyderabad on January 30–31, 2026, bringing together global leaders to deliberate on the future of healthcare delivery. Over the years, the dialogue has established itself as a significant global forum addressing patient safety, quality of care, innovation, and large-scale healthcare transformation by uniting voices from clinical medicine, policy, technology, and health administration.
The 2026 gathering will revolve around the theme “Global Voices. One Vision”, underscoring the need for shared leadership, advanced technologies, and patient-focused strategies to build resilient and future-ready healthcare systems. Discussions will centre on leadership-led safety frameworks, human-centred system design, digital enablement, and excellence across clinical outcomes, patient experience, and hospital operations.
Ahead of the event, Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals Group, highlighted the evolving role of the International Health Dialogue as a collaborative learning platform. She stated that the Hyderabad edition will explore the responsible integration of artificial intelligence, data intelligence, and digital health ecosystems with empathy and ethical governance. International Health Dialogue 2026 will consolidate four major conferences into a unified learning platform. The International Patient Safety Conference will focus on forward-looking strategies and systems aimed at reducing risk and improving care safety. The Healthcare Operations and Patient Experience Conference will address how efficiency, compassion, and innovation can be seamlessly integrated across the patient journey. The Transforming Healthcare with IT Conference will serve as a meeting ground for healthcare and technology leaders to exchange insights on digital health advancements and best practices. Meanwhile, CLINOVATE, themed “The Future Ready Laboratory,” will examine the growing role of diagnostics in clinical decision-making, highlighting the impact of automation, analytics, and artificial intelligence in modern laboratories.
The dialogue will also see participation from senior government leaders and policymakers from across the globe, including Hon. Col. Maj. Garba Hakimi, Minister of Public Health, Republic of Niger; Hon. Mr. Elias Kapavore, Minister of Health and HIV and AIDS, Papua New Guinea; and Hon. Prof. Jean Rosaire Ibara, Minister of Health and Population, Republic of Congo.
