Delhi has witnessed the launch of its first exclusive multispecialty hospital dedicated entirely to women’s healthcare. The Women’s Hospital (TWH), located at Nehru Enclave on Outer Ring Road, has been established with an investment of USD 5 million from multiple investors.
Founded by Anika Parashar and her team, the hospital aims to provide integrated and judgment-free healthcare services tailored specifically for women at every phase of life. The initiative seeks to bridge a major gap in India’s healthcare system by creating a single institution focused entirely on women’s medical and wellness needs.
Built across a 30,000 sq. ft. area, the facility combines preventive healthcare, diagnostics, wellness services, clinical treatments, aesthetics, and specialized clinics under one roof. The hospital is designed to support women through different life stages, including adolescent health, fertility care, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, menopause management, cancer treatment, mental wellness, metabolic disorders, and ageing-related care.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by chief guests Jyotsana Sharma, Saroj Singh, and Mala Baijal.
India continues to face major challenges in women’s healthcare, particularly in preventive and specialized medical support. TWH plans to address these concerns through a continuous care model that focuses on long-term healthcare rather than isolated treatments. Dedicated departments have been established for reproductive health, maternity, fertility, oncology, chronic disease management, mental health, functional medicine, menopause, and aesthetics.
Speaking at the launch, Anika Parashar, Founder & CEO of The Women’s Hospital, said, “TWH comes from a gap I have seen in over 25 years of working closely with women, families, doctors and healthcare teams. Women are often expected to care for everyone else, but when it comes to their own health, they are left to navigate fragmented systems, repeat their stories, delay care, or feel unheard. TWH has been built to change that. We want to create a healthcare home where a girl, a mother, a working woman, a woman in menopause, or an elderly woman can access specialised, preventive and holistic care without judgment.”
She further added, “Every detail, from our clinical blueprint and life-stage clinics to the doctors, privacy, air quality and patient experience, has been designed to make women feel safer, supported and more in control of their health.”
Arjun Sharma, Chairman of The Select Group, stated that the investment reflects the company’s long-term commitment to meaningful healthcare infrastructure projects.
“Throughout our journey in hospitality and retail, we have always believed that the businesses that endure are those that genuinely serve people at their most human moments. The Women’s Hospital is our most purposeful investment to date — not just because of the scale of the unmet need, but because of the vision Anika and her team have brought to addressing it,” he said.
The launch of The Women’s Hospital marks a significant step toward strengthening women-focused healthcare infrastructure in India. By bringing specialized medical services, wellness care, and preventive healthcare together under one roof, the hospital aims to create a more inclusive and supportive healthcare environment for women across all age groups.
