Apollo Hospitals Unveils Clinical Book Series to Advance Medical Practice

Apollo Hospitals has introduced a new collection of six clinical reference books designed to help healthcare professionals stay updated with the latest treatment approaches and medical advancements. The initiative aims to strengthen clinical decision-making and enhance patient outcomes across key specialties.

The newly launched Apollo Clinical Book Series covers a range of important healthcare areas, including cardiology, nephrology, breast cancer, stroke, obesity management, and diabetes care.

The publication series was formally unveiled by Dr. Prathap C. Reddy, Founder and Chairman of Apollo Hospitals Group, along with Preetha Reddy, Vice Chairperson, and Suneeta Reddy, Managing Director of the group.

Speaking at the launch, Dr. Prathap Reddy highlighted India’s remarkable progress in healthcare over the past four decades. He noted that the country now offers medical care comparable to leading Western nations and, in some specialties, has moved ahead through advanced procedures such as robotic cardiac surgeries and complex neuro-interventions. He also expressed confidence that India is well positioned to become a major global destination for healthcare services.

Emphasising the importance of preventive healthcare, Dr. Reddy encouraged individuals to undergo routine health screenings. He said early diagnosis remains one of the most effective ways to detect illnesses before they become severe and significantly improve treatment outcomes. According to him, with access to advanced diagnostics and treatment options now widely available across specialties, people should not postpone consultations or medical tests.

Each book in the series features a foreword by senior leaders from Apollo Hospitals. Dr. Prathap Reddy contributed to the cardiology and nephrology volumes, while Preetha Reddy wrote the foreword for the breast cancer edition. Suneeta Reddy authored the foreword for the stroke volume, Shobana Kamineni for obesity management, and Sangita Reddy for the diabetes book.

The launch event was attended by Anupam Sibal, Group Medical Director of Apollo Hospitals Group, Raju Vaishya, Editor-in-Chief of Apollo Medicine, as well as the editors and co-editors associated with the book series.

With the launch of the Apollo Clinical Book Series, Apollo Hospitals seeks to support continuous medical education and equip clinicians with current knowledge across critical specialties. The initiative reflects the group’s ongoing commitment to advancing healthcare standards and improving patient care through knowledge sharing and clinical excellence.
