Aster Quality Care Cancer Conclave 2026 to Bring Together Oncology Experts

The Aster Quality Care Cancer Conclave 2026 (AQCCON Kochi 2026) will be held from October 2 to 4, 2026, at Crowne Plaza Kochi, bringing together more than 100 oncology experts from across India.

Organised by the Aster International Institute of Oncology, the three-day conclave will feature over 60 scientific sessions focused on emerging developments in cancer care. Topics will include cancer prevention, precision oncology, molecular diagnostics, surgical, medical and radiation oncology, hematologic malignancies, immunotherapy, research, palliative care and multidisciplinary cancer management.

The programme will include keynote lectures, tumour board discussions, expert panels, case-based debates and presentations on recent clinical research. The event also comes at a significant time as ASTER, CARE Hospitals, KIMSHEALTH and EVERCARE come together under one integrated healthcare organisation.

“This conclave about bringing minds together to exchange ideas, drive innovation and ultimately improve outcomes for patients.,” said Dr. Arun R Warrier, Organizing Secretary, AQCCON-2026 and Senior Consultant – Medical Oncology, Aster Medcity, Kochi.

According to Dr. Jem Kalathil, Organizing Chairperson, AQCCON-2026 and Senior Consultant – Surgical Oncology Lead, Aster International Institute of Oncology, Aster Medcity, the conference will bring together professionals from a wide range of cancer specialties.

“The conference is expected to draw a diverse audience of medical, surgical, radiation and hemato-oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and specialists in nuclear medicine and genomic medicine, along with researchers, fellows, residents, medical students, allied healthcare professionals and industry partners, all united by the common goal of transforming cancer care,” said Dr. Jem Kalathil.

Dr. Jem Kalathil, Dr. Vineetha Rijju, Consultant – Palliative Medicine and Community Oncology, and Sajan Philip, Senior Counsellor, Oncology Department, Aster Medcity, attended the press conference at Ernakulam Press Club.

The conclave is expected to provide a platform for oncology professionals to share clinical knowledge, discuss new approaches and explore opportunities to strengthen multidisciplinary cancer care in India.
