Dr Batra’s® Launches HairGain, India’s First Hair Regrowth Therapy Powered by 50 Billion Exosomes

Dr Batra’s® Healthcare has expanded its regenerative medicine portfolio with the launch of HairGain, a non-surgical hair restoration therapy powered by 50 billion exosomes. The company says the treatment is the first of its kind in India and is designed to promote natural hair regrowth using advanced regenerative technology.

The new therapy targets a wide range of hair loss conditions affecting both men and women. It is intended for individuals experiencing hereditary hair loss, male and female pattern baldness, stress-related hair fall, post-pregnancy hair loss, menopause-associated thinning, and early-stage hair thinning.

Unlike treatments that mainly focus on slowing hair loss, HairGain is designed to stimulate the body’s own regenerative processes. By activating inactive hair follicles and improving scalp health, the therapy aims to encourage the growth of stronger, thicker, and healthier hair over time.

Hair loss has become an increasing concern across India, with an estimated 150 million people affected. Beyond its physical impact, the condition often influences confidence and emotional well-being, prompting growing interest in advanced, minimally invasive treatment options.

A key component of HairGain is its formulation containing 50 billion exosomes. Exosomes are microscopic biological messengers that help cells communicate and support tissue repair. In hair restoration, they assist in reactivating dormant follicles, promoting cellular renewal, and creating conditions that support healthier hair growth.

The treatment also incorporates Dr Batra’s® proprietary TriXo Complex, which combines exosomes with regenerative ingredients such as PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide), collagen, caffeine, growth factors, polypeptides, and copper tripeptides. This combination is designed to repair weakened follicles, improve scalp circulation, strengthen the scalp’s protective barrier, extend the active hair growth cycle, and enhance both hair density and overall hair quality.

According to Dr Batra’s®, patients may begin noticing visible improvements in around 75 days, depending on their individual condition and treatment plan. Expected outcomes include reduced hair fall, healthier scalp conditions, stronger hair roots, increased hair thickness, improved density, and visible regrowth under clinical supervision.

Commenting on the launch, Dr. Akshay Batra, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, Dr Batra’s® Healthcare, and the first Indian President of the Trichological Society of London (UK), said: “Hair restoration is entering a completely new era. Today’s consumers are looking for solutions that are backed by science, are minimally invasive and capable of delivering meaningful hair regrowth by working with the body’s own regenerative mechanisms. Exosome therapy represents one of the most exciting advances in regenerative medicine because it delivers powerful biological signals that help awaken dormant hair follicles and support natural hair growth.”

He further added: “Unlike PRP, where results can vary depending on the quality and concentration of an individual’s own platelets, HairGain delivers a standardized dose of 50 Billion Exosomes, ensuring a far more consistent regenerative stimulus for the scalp. For many individuals experiencing early to moderate stages of hair loss, this offers a compelling non-surgical option that may help restore hair naturally before considering more invasive procedures such as hair transplantation.”

Dr Batra’s® Healthcare, which has over four decades of experience in hair and scalp care, said the introduction of HairGain reflects its continued focus on integrating scientific research with next-generation regenerative therapies. The company aims to make globally advanced hair restoration technologies more widely available to patients across India through safe and personalised treatment solutions.

With regenerative medicine gaining momentum in aesthetic and clinical care, the launch of HairGain marks another step towards advanced non-surgical hair restoration in India. By combining exosome technology with a multi-ingredient regenerative approach, the treatment seeks to offer patients an innovative option for addressing hair loss and supporting long-term hair regrowth.
