Global Health Limited, which operates hospitals under the Medanta brand, has acquired a 10,560-square-metre land parcel in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, for approximately ₹165.82 crore.
The company plans to develop a 350-plus-bed multi-speciality hospital on the site. The project will, however, require customary statutory approvals and clearance from the company’s Board of Directors.
The proposed facility is expected to expand Medanta’s presence across the Delhi-NCR healthcare market and address growing demand for advanced medical services in Ghaziabad and surrounding regions. Its potential catchment area will include eastern Delhi, Meerut, Saharanpur, Hapur, Bulandshahr and other parts of western Uttar Pradesh.
“We see Ghaziabad as a compelling long-term healthcare opportunity within the broader Delhi-NCR market. The region has undergone significant urban and economic development and continues to see increasing demand for advanced, specialised healthcare services,” said Pankaj Sahni, Group CEO and Director, Global Health.
As of June 30, 2026, Global Health operated six hospitals across Gurgaon, Indore, Ranchi, Lucknow, Patna and Noida, with a combined installed capacity of 3,737 beds.
The company is also developing five new hospitals in Mumbai, Delhi’s Pitampura and South Delhi, Guwahati and Varanasi.
The Ghaziabad project is set to add another major healthcare facility to Medanta’s expanding hospital network and strengthen its reach across the wider Delhi-NCR and western Uttar Pradesh region.
