Park Medi World Ltd has created a wholly owned subsidiary, Park Medicity Prayagraj Ltd, to develop and operate a 550-bed multi-super-speciality hospital in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
The new company will oversee the hospital project awarded to Park Medi World under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model by the Prayagraj Municipal Corporation.
According to the company’s regulatory filing, Park Medicity Prayagraj was incorporated with Park Medi World holding 100% of its equity. The parent company has subscribed to 1,50,000 equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each, representing an initial investment of ₹15 lakh in the subsidiary.
The planned hospital will strengthen Park Medi World’s presence in Uttar Pradesh and expand access to multi-super-speciality healthcare services in Prayagraj.
Founded in 2000, Park Medi World operates a network of 16 multi-super-speciality hospitals under the Park brand across Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. The company describes itself as the second-largest private hospital chain in North India and the largest private hospital network in Haryana by bed capacity.
Expanding healthcare capacity in Uttar Pradesh
The Prayagraj project is part of Park Medi World’s broader expansion strategy in Uttar Pradesh, where demand for advanced private healthcare services continues to grow. The company already has a presence in the state and is working to build a larger hospital network across key cities.
The 550-bed facility is expected to add significant tertiary and multi-super-speciality capacity to Prayagraj, serving both the city and patients from surrounding areas.
The formation of Park Medicity Prayagraj marks another step in Park Medi World’s North India expansion. Once developed, the 550-bed hospital is expected to strengthen the private healthcare infrastructure in Prayagraj and broaden access to advanced medical services in the region.
