PSUs Champion Wellness on International Day of Yoga 2025

Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) across India celebrated the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2025 by reinforcing their commitment to health, wellness, and social responsibility.

Leading the initiative, the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) organized a series of inclusive and impactful events, with the flagship session Yoga Sangam drawing over 10,000 participants from various sectors at the CISF Ground, JNPA Township.

The campaign featured a diverse lineup of programs including Harit Yoga, blending environmental consciousness with yogic practices; Yoga Unplugged, targeting school students; Yoga Mahakumbh, large community sessions; and Yoga Samavesh, focused on differently-abled individuals. JNPA also launched a permanent Yoga Park to promote daily practice and held international sessions like Yoga Connect with participation from the Port of Antwerp.

Other PSUs such as NBCC and CONCOR also conducted multi-day Yoga Mahakumbh events nationwide, underlining a collective push towards integrating wellness in public life.

The celebrations showcased yoga as a unifying force for well-being, setting a strong example of how PSUs can lead in fostering holistic community development.
