Polymatech Plans ₹550 Cr Medical Devices Facility in Tamil Nadu

Polymatech Electronics Limited is expanding its footprint in the healthcare manufacturing space with a major investment in Tamil Nadu. The company has secured additional land at the SIPCOT Medical Devices Park near Oragadam to set up a new production unit.

The firm has signed a long-term lease of 99 years for a 4.45-acre plot, where it intends to invest around ₹550 crore to build advanced medical device manufacturing infrastructure.

This move comes as its existing Oragadam facility is already operating at full capacity, highlighting strong demand for its high-precision manufacturing capabilities.

The upcoming unit will focus on producing sophisticated medical devices, strengthening India’s position in both electronics and healthcare manufacturing. The project is also expected to create jobs for nearly 100 engineers.

The expansion follows the positive global response to the company’s recent innovations showcased at major international platforms in Las Vegas.

“This additional land will help us in scaling advanced medical device manufacturing in India. With strong global validation of our innovations, this expansion will enable us to respond with speed, precision, and quality to growing market needs,” said Eswara Rao Nandam.

Separately, the company is also progressing on plans in Chhattisgarh, where land has already been allotted and recommendations for Special Economic Zone (SEZ) status have been issued, with formal notification underway.

Overall, the investment marks a key step in Polymatech’s broader strategy to scale operations and support India’s ambition of becoming a global hub for medical device manufacturing.
