The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Chandigarh Circle, will celebrate the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY) on 21st June 2025 from 6:00 AM to 7:45 AM at five historic sites across Punjab and Haryana, in line with the Ministry of Culture’s initiative to combine wellness with heritage.
The programme will begin with the Prime Minister’s address followed by a Common Yoga Protocol session. Celebrations will take place at Bathinda Fort, Shamsher Khan’s Tomb (Batala), Maharaja Ranjit Singh Fort (Phillaur), Jallianwala Bagh (Amritsar), and Ruined Qila (Hansi).
Prominent guests, yoga organizations, and government officials will participate. Citizens are invited to join and celebrate yoga as a path to holistic well-being at these iconic locations.
