Healthcare technology startup MedPredict has officially introduced MediElaj, an AI-enabled healthcare platform that combines smart diagnostic kiosks with a mobile application to improve access to basic health services in underserved communities.
Based in Faridabad, the company has secured around $100,000 in funding from friends and family. In addition, the founders have invested nearly $500,000 of their own capital to develop the platform, build kiosk infrastructure, strengthen operational capabilities, and create an integrated AI-powered healthcare ecosystem.
MediElaj is designed to connect users with healthcare services through smart kiosks and a mobile app. The platform enables AI-assisted health assessments, non-invasive health monitoring, digital health record management, and conversational support for healthcare-related queries, all from the convenience of home or nearby community locations.
The newly raised capital has been used to advance product development, create and test kiosk prototypes, integrate medical sensors and connected devices, develop cloud-based software architecture, and prepare for pilot deployments. The investment has also helped establish the company’s research and operational framework for future expansion.
The healthcare kiosks are equipped with AI-powered screening tools, non-invasive diagnostic capabilities, digital health record access, and interactive healthcare guidance. By bringing these services closer to people living in smaller cities and rural areas, the company aims to reduce the need for long-distance travel to major healthcare centres.
Looking ahead, MediElaj plans to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities to support large-scale kiosk production, enhance its AI and cybersecurity infrastructure, and expand deployment across the country. The company is also working on strategic partnerships to build a broader healthcare network focused on Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, rural communities, and other underserved regions.
With its focus on combining artificial intelligence, connected healthcare technologies, and community-based access points, MediElaj is positioning itself to bridge healthcare gaps in underserved markets. As the company scales its operations, it aims to make essential health services more accessible, convenient, and technology-driven for millions across India.
