Artemis Hospital has completed more than 2,500 CyberKnife radiosurgery procedures, marking a significant milestone in its advanced cancer and neurosurgical treatment programme. The achievement reflects the hospital’s growing experience in delivering precision, minimally invasive care for patients with complex tumors and neurological disorders.

The hospital has also strengthened its treatment capabilities by installing North India’s first M6 CyberKnife equipped with VOLO™ technology. The latest robotic radiosurgery platform is designed to improve treatment accuracy, shorten procedure times, and enhance patient comfort. Using real-time imaging, robotic beam delivery, and automatic motion tracking, the system can continuously adjust treatment for tumors that move during breathing or are located close to critical organs. Its advanced planning software also helps create highly precise radiation plans while reducing treatment duration.

This enables specialists to treat lesions in sensitive locations—including the brainstem, skull base, and spine—while limiting radiation exposure to surrounding healthy tissue.
