Kamineni Hospitals has launched its ‘Kamineni Community Champions’ initiative in Hyderabad to recognise residential community leaders and promote stronger links between communities and healthcare providers.
The programme, held on Saturday, brought together representatives from more than 50 gated and residential communities. Community Presidents and Secretaries were recognised for their role in supporting residents, coordinating essential services and contributing to safer and healthier neighbourhoods.
Residential community leaders often serve as the link between residents and essential services, while also helping manage facilities, address day-to-day concerns and encourage community participation.
Through the initiative, Kamineni Hospitals acknowledged these efforts under the theme, “You Care for Your Community. We Care for Its Health.”
The hospital also introduced its Community Health Privilege Card, designed to extend healthcare benefits to residents and families of participating communities.
According to the hospital, eligible members can avail themselves of benefits covering selected outpatient consultations, diagnostic services, inpatient care and other healthcare services, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
Around 150 community representatives and guests attended the programme, along with members of Kamineni Hospitals’ leadership and clinical teams.
Dr. Gayatri Kamineni, Executive; Dr. Gokul Raghu Ram, Chief Operating Officer; Satyanarayana ARS; and other senior hospital representatives were present at the event.
The discussions also focused on areas where hospitals and residential communities can work together, including preventive healthcare, health-awareness activities, screening camps and emergency support.
With the Community Champions initiative, Kamineni Hospitals is seeking to expand community engagement beyond treatment by encouraging preventive health practices, improving health awareness and creating more accessible healthcare connections for residential communities.
The initiative also provides a platform for continued collaboration between healthcare professionals and community leaders, with the broader aim of making preventive and timely healthcare a more integral part of community life.
