Although the child had previously undergone corrective surgery in the United Kingdom, a rare and complex complication developed in the form of a recurrent tracheoesophageal fistula, where the abnormal connection reappeared. Several minimally invasive and invasive surgical attempts performed elsewhere were unsuccessful in closing the defect. Following surgery, the child made an excellent recovery. Mechanical ventilatory support was gradually withdrawn, allowing the child to resume normal oral feeding without complications. The child was discharged in stable condition on the seventh post-operative day, on multiple follow-ups, the child continues to do well and remains completely asymptomatic. The child has demonstrated appropriate weight gain and is now able to consume a normal diet without any difficulty. Follow-up imaging has confirmed normal calibre of both the airway and the oesophagus, with no evidence of recurrent fistula or narrowing, indicating a sustained and favourable surgical outcome. The child flew back to the United Kingdom and recently celebrated his birth with his family.
